I didn't start documenting
my legacy right away. I took a random of my founder & her future hubbie meeting in the park but since it wasn't in the intent of creating a blog & all that jazz, I didn't take more pictures until their family was well under way (oops!)
My founder is Candice
Rose. She is a Cheerful Foodie who Loves the Outdoors and (as you
will soon discover) the letter C!
Inheritance law: red hair gene trumps all // girl trumps boy
Candice comes from generations of famers who have spurned modern dependence on industrial food and economy. Candice has grown up with a fierce pride in her family's self-sufficiency and yearns to be like them. On her 18th birthday, her father and mother surprise her with the best coming-of-age present she could have hoped for: a brand new plot of land to start her own farm.
Candice sets out in the world with ambitions to be a Freelance Botanist - to heck with conventional jobs and 9-to-5 torment, Candice will grow a beautiful garden with every type of fruit, vegetable and flower. She'll never know what it's like to step foot in a supermarket. All she needs if a fishing husband to bring home some protein and she's set!
Candice meets Reid Ma over
a platter of veggie burgers at the park. He's a Bro and a Goofball who
also Loves the Outdoors. They hit it off immediately!
Candice the foodie digs in while Reid watches
on, drooling a bit I'm sure. Apparently he's too much of a gentleman
to chow down on his first date! Your loss buddy!
timeskip: Candice and Reid get
engaged and elope all in the same day. There's no wasting time with
them! They have two beautiful baby girls:
Cassandra: Artistic
Prodigy, Self-Assured
and
Cristina: Social
Butterfly, Goofball
Unfortunately, no red
hair and no boy. Gotta keep trying!
Their third child is
CeeCee, who has red hair! Possible heir? CeeCee is a Geek and has the Whiz Kid aspiration.
Candice really wants a boy though, so they
keep a-trying! Here's a quick snapshot of Daddy Reid fishing and pregnant mommy Candice talking to her trees.
Baby Cedric is born!
This officially means that CeeCee will be the heir,
yay :)
